Matthew's first Christmas
Isn't he cute??
This year he is going to play baby Jesus in our Family
Nativity. Should be fun, Daniel will be Joeseph, and of course
sweet little Natalie will be our Mary. Danny will read the story.
Hopefully it goes well...

Sick for Christmas...
I have never been sick for christmas
before... this year is a first. I must have had some bad
food or something.... but I am feeling better. I just hope
no-one else gets sick. Matthew was sick with me too,
he couldn't keep his milk down, he too is doing much, much better.

Merry Christmas to all.

Christmas Decorations

O Christmas Tree, O Christmas Tree
The kids keep taking the bulbs off the tree,
good thing there not glass... Well most of them.

Our Nativity set

Christmas time is here... Sending us great cheer!
We just love Christmas time, It brings to us a sort of
Love deep with in all of us that helps us spread cheer.
We love to give and love to hear about the Savior, and
his birth.

All Snowed In

I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas...
Snowing in southern California, Yeah!
Picture of snowy chickens and hens
The kids swingset is frozen, cold
Danny's car looks cool!
Well, it's been snowing all day, and we have
about 3 inches of snow. Pretty cool, but hard for kids to stay
in the house. We would go play in the snow, but it is so
windy and cold. When it stops snowing we are excited to play
in it. Who else got snow... Erin I know that you do.

Friendship and Bread

Courtney and Siona
Leslie and Courtney
Vivian and Amber
(L-R) Vivian, Amber, Courtney, Dansi, And Siona
I was taking the picture.

We all had lots of fun together making this yummy bread. This recipe is so scrumcious that you will eat the whole bread loaf in one day. If you want the recipe let me know. I tried to make my own bread at my house, but it didn't turn out to good. Only because my wonderful children through away my kitchen-aide mixing whisk and bread hook, so I have to make my bread by hand. Leslie even ground her own wheat to make flour, and that was really neat to see, Because she has this old wheat grinder that is really cool.
I just love getting together and making stuff with Friends, and I am glad to have such Good Friends. Thank you.

Door to Door Art

We have had so many people coming to our door to sell things this past week from Kirby vacuums to magazines to Artwork and we finally gave in. This student from Jerusalem was selling canvases from a student gallery. You could tell he was from the East cause of how passionate he was when he described the scenery in the art. Some was his work, but there was some amazing prices and pieces. This one was of the Sea of Galilee. If any one wants some amazing Art for the homestead we got his phone number.

PROTECT OUR CHILDREN

"Sign" of things to come?

"It is ironic that the very ones who demand tolerance are intolerant; that those who cry “discrimination” are discriminating; and that those who holler “equal rights” are actively engaged in depriving others of their rights. There has been an orchestrated effort by those who oppose Proposition 8 to silence the pro-family voices and take from them their freedom of speech and expression, their freedom to spare their children from gay indoctrination and their freedom to practice their beliefs and be true to their moral standards. No such rights are taken from same-sex partners as a result of the passage of Proposition 8."

THANK YOU

The APPLE'S of our Eyes

We are at Riley's Farm, up in Oak Glen.
Natalie is trying to carry the big bag of Apples, She dropped the bag after that.
Me and Daniel are picking the Apples, He did pretty good too!
Look at this CUTIE-PIE!!!
We covered Matthew with Apples, He is too cute.
Grandma Jan came with us, and Helped pick Apples.

Behind the kids there is a huge Turkey.
The kids had lots of Fun.
The bag of Apples dropped like five times.
Here is Natalie Eating her Third Apple.
Matthew scarfed'em down too. Just Kiddin'
He just loves to be outside.
It is so much Fun to see the kids learning and growing. I took the kids up here to with a group of friends to pick Raspberries(when they were in season) That was lots of Fun, Because the kids are learning how to pick the berries and also you get to eat berries as your picking and filling up your basket.
I suggest that if you have a farm by you, that you go and support them, your children will have fun and you will too. I just love nature and all that it has to offer to us.
Maybe  next time we will go see the cows.
