This is my day....

My    BAPTISM   Day.

 Daniel 3 & Daniel 4

He is so happy.
This day Finally came. Daniel was so excited for his baptism day.

Grandparents

Some great friends of ours.
The Miranda family and the Gomez family.
Thanks for your support.

Vivian did great playing the piano for all of us.

More family here...Grandma Jan and Aunti Janel, with some friends.

Grandma and Grandpa Campbell wanted to give Daniel something
extra special for his extra special day. They gave hive the complete three in one scriptures with his name engraved on the front of it.

How sweet these pictures are, you can really see the difference already in Daniel. He is a shining star. We love him so much. We are so proud of him and all that he has done. Someday he is going to be the greatest missionary, the greatest man, the greatest husband, and so much more. I know that Heavenly Father has a wonderful plan for him. He is already doing a great job reading his scriptures in the mornings with me.
We love you Daniel.

Families are Forever

Camping at Santee Lakes

This is our second summer vacation. We went camping down in San Diego at Santee Lakes. We borrowed Grandpa and Grandmas nice tent trailer, Thank you. It was a very nice place to camp, we were right across from one of the seven fishing lakes. This was our first day there out of the five days we had planned to camp. Everyone was happy and glad to get out of our house.
Here is what we did...

We set up our camp the night before.....

Say Cheese!!

A fun game of throwing balls.

Here is our camp-site fishing lake, nice view and not too fishy smelling.

This was a fun park we went to, not very big but fun.

We all rode our bikes to these climbing rocks for kids, they liked climbing and
 jumping around here too.

Here we are enjoying our first day camping, swimming, riding bikes, fishing, and having fun.
when all of a sudden.....We were on our way to go to a new splash pad, as we were riding our bikes and we were about half way there when Daniel's shoe laces got stuck in his pedals and he stopped to try and undo it but lost his balance, fell and his handle bar cut open his face. Yeah, poor guy. He was so brave through thee whole experience.

Here we are at the closest hospital which was luckily only 15 min, away from our camping.
We waited to be sen by the doctor from 4:30 until 11:00pm that day. The nurse had told us that he needed a plastic surgeon to fix him all up. He was really brave when the doctor was stitching him up, which by the way he got 12 stitches.

We got back to camp so late that night before we were deciding to go home or not.
We took it day by day depending on if Daniel felt any pain or something else were to happen. We stayed the whole time and still had fun. Even though it was hard for Daniel at times, he did great.

I am truly truly thankful that he is fine and nothing worse happened. I am also very thankful for all doctors in the world and that they have the knowledge about the human body to help us in times of need. And that they have pain killers.

We went to downtown SanDiego to visit the Mormon Battalion. It has been awhile since we were there, they updated it and it was really cool. We loved it and our kiddos did too.

Here we are just a panning for some gold.

What a beautiful view of old town.

Back at camp trying to fish.

Didn't stay long at camp, we wanted to go and explore our surroundings.
 This park was really fun.

What a helpful big brother.
There is more to our trip but wanted to share the first part. I will post soon the rest of it.
